READING ON THE LARGE LOUNGE CHAIRS ON THE SERENITY DECK (deck 13, wish we would have discovered this sooner)
SHARING A HAMMOCK WITH MY SWEETIE

CHOCOLATE HOUR (all different kinds of desserts were served after lunch)
OUR LAST SUNSET ON THE SHIP
DINNER IN THE DINNING ROOM

CUTE TOWEL DESIGN
WE ARE PACKED ALL READY FOR OUR DEPARTURE IN THE MORNING
SUNDAY, JANUARY 27th
ARRIVED EARLY IN THE MORNING
GALVESTON AT 5:00 AM

I LOVED THIS VIEW OF THE MOON OFF THE BACK OF THE SHIP
A TUG BOAT BRINGING THE FUEL TO THE SHIP
MY LAST PICTURE OF THE INSIDE OF THE SHIP, THESE ARE THE LOBBY ELEVATORS
AFTER A VERY LONG WAIT IN LINES TO LEAVE THE SHIP AND PORT WE PICKED UP A COUPLE OF RENTAL CARS.  WE SAID OUR GOODBYES TO THE RUDELS AS THEY HEADED FOR THE HOUSTON AIRPORT TO CATCH THEIR FLIGHTS HOME.  JOHN AND I STAYED IN GALVESTON ONE MORE DAY.  WE EXPLORED THE TOWN BEFORE HEADING TO THE MOTEL.  WE LOVED THEIR HISTORICAL AREA.  THE HOMES WERE BEAUTIFUL.

THIS IS ONE OF THEIR MANY BEAUTIFUL CHURCHES.
WE DROVE OUT AS FAR AS WE COULD ON THIS ROAD, WE WATCHED THE SHIPS SAIL IN AND OUT THE THE PORT.
PASSING BY THE CARNIVAL SHIP  WATCHING THE NEW GROUP OF PASSENGERS ENTERING THE SHIP FOR A WEEK OF ADVENTURES
WE DROVE TO OUR MOTEL
(the same place we stayed the week before)
AFTER CHECKING IN WE DROVE AROUND AGAIN CHECKING
OUT THE BEACHES IN GALVESTON
WE STUMBLED UPON A BOARD WALK

WE LOVED THE HOMES WITH THE CANALS AS THEIR BACK YARD,
THERE WERE A LOT OF PRIVATE BOATS DOCKED IN THE CANALS
(this canal curves around and continues on for several blocks)
MONDAY, JANUARY 28th
ON TO HOUSTON TO CATCH OUR FLIGHT HOME
WE DROVE IN EARLY AND SPENT A FEW HOURS AT THE AIRPORT
THANK HEAVENS FOR USO LOUNGES AT AIRPORTS!  WE HAD LAY OVERS COMING AND GOING ON OUR TRIP.  WE STAYED FOR A FEW HOURS AT THE DALLAS AIRPORT WITH THE RUDELS ON OUR WAY TO HOUSTON.  THEY WERE SO SURPRISED TO SEE HOW AWESOME THESE VOLUNTEER PEOPLE TREAT THE MILITARY PEOPLE AND THEIR FAMILIES.  WE ALWAYS FEEL AT HOME WHEN WE GO TO THESE PLACES.  WISH THEY HAD THEM AT EVERY AIRPORT.
HOUSTON'S USO CLUB.  I READ A LOT WHEN WE SPENT TIME HERE.
