SUNRISE TO SUNSET
THE END OF A WONDERFUL VACATION
Before the sun came up we were awakened by crowing roosters, and then they were replaced by the sound of birds singing and and pounding waves, The reality that our vacation was coming to an end, hit us hard. We layed in bed and watched the morning sky change colors as the day approached. There was a small tug boat just coming into port as the night sky was changing into a beautiful morning sky. You can see the lights between the trees if you look closely. The tug boat was towing a large barge full of huge trailers.

MORNING HAS ARRIVED
I loved this vase at the hotel so I had to take a picture of it. Can you guess what was painted on the vase?
ROOSTERS!
SAYING GOODBYE
Leaving Kauai and heading back to Honolulu for our flight home.
Waiting at the airport in Kauai.......ask John why we had to wait so long.
5 HOURS
We had a few hours before our flight home in Honolulu so we hung out at the Navy Exchange.
Yup, that's Santa
We had lunch up in the food court where we sat outside on the balcony to enjoy the weather.
We decided to drive over to Hickem Air force base to enjoy the sunset before our flight, they had a beach where we took tuns of pictures. We visited with a resident and her son at this beach, the water was very shallow in this area. She told us that in this particular area when evening came small sharks would swim around. We didn't see any sharks, but we did see a breath taking sunset.

WE COULDN'T THINK OF A BETTER WAY TO END OUR VACATION!
