CALI FAMILY IN TOWN FOR CHRISTMAS

TUESDAY MORNING
Mike and the kids arrived in the wee hours of the morning after traveling 12 hours on monday(it was hard getting out of California because of the rainy weather). They arrived just before Utah's big storm hit. Tuesday morning the kids could not wait to get out in the snow. It was so much fun seeing big smiles on their faces while they played.

THING IN A JAR/GRANDMA & PTA

WILLOW CANYON ELEMENTARY REFLECTIONS
LOGAN WITH AN HONORABLE MENTIONS AWARD
One of the activities that I have been involved with these last few years is the PTA. I helped with the Halloween Festivities and also helped organize Reflections. There have been a few of us Grandparents who have enjoyed the PTA, in fact our PTA president this year is a Grandparent, he is a wonderful leader. The school principal called me "The Grandma of the Year", that made me feel good. While working on reflections I brought home some play doe and funny eyes, Logan was over to my house so I handed him the materials and told him to create something for Refection's. He loved it, and new exactly what he wanted to do. He saw this "Thing in a Jar" (octopus) at his dad's work. He began creating his creatures. The theme was "Together We Can", he had the Octopus's holding hands. He said it represented him and Braden because they were best friends. His mom put it on a board and Logan wrote down the theme. Pretty cool for a last minute project. Shannon said that Logan is already excited about doing this again next year.
