BRANDT'S BIRTHDAY WISH

OCTOBER 22, 2011

Brandt's birthday was on the 21st, and for his birthday he asked his family to go with him to Ephraim and to take the four wheelers up the canyon to Grandpa Bills tree. We left early Saturday morning for Ephraim. On the way to Ephraim we had a few deer jump out into the road. We almost killed a deer even without trying. It was the start of the deer hunt so Dad, Brandt, Soupie, Carlee and Tayler had to deck themselves out in bright orange for their trip to the tree. They quaking aspen were a beautiful yellow.

I stayed back and played with my cute little Grady, he is such a good baby.
It was his nap time. It looks like I needed a nap too.

After their ride we helped pick up Grandma Ellen's leaves. By the time we had dinner and were ready to leave for home the wind had sent hundreds of the leaves down again, that was disheartening.
Tayler was helping me by stomping down the leaves in the garbage can.

We made carrot cake for Brandt's birthday. We never can get grandma's matches to light. There is a special emery board she uses. I don't think grandma needs to worry about these matches catching anything on fire.
