OUR PLANET ASSIGNMENT - MERCURY Our theme: Mercury Rising

Our camp site
Each girl made her own mail box (spaceships). During the week each young woman would put a little note of encouragement in each others mail boxes.

The Arnold's, Marie France and Captain Kirk were our cooks

Brother Arnold new my brother Bob, they worked at the same fire station and also were in the same stake in Rose Park

The last day of camp we were all tired and ready to go home, but we took with us lots of great memories and a stronger testimony of the gospel.

REVELATIONS 3 : 15,16

All the leaders worked hard to make this a memorable time for the young women. The Stake had great activities as well as our ward. The girls had lots of projects, from rings to magnet boards. Every leader went the extra mile and it really showed. We all had a great time and thanks to the Arnolds we had wonderful meals. The highlight of camp was our testimony meeting. Also it wasn't too bad that I got to be at camp with John, I think he now has a better appreciation for what we do for our girls, and he knows for sure that the girls have it a lot better than the boys. But don't we deserve it!

July 18th - 19th FAMILY AT BEAR LAKE

Fun-tasticWe arrived early in the morning and got set up before the crowd hit, it was a beautiful & peaceful day. The kids loved the water and digging in the sand. Jay rented a wave runner and everyone got to have one or two turns on it. The adults enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere, we don't get enough of those!Lot's of water toys for the kidsThe two littlest ones are loving it!

The older boys are starting an all day project When Savy starts digging she is in her own little world
Now the boys are starting to recruit others to help with their project
Pretty soon everyone is in on their experiment, even the baby The wave runner The kids are excited to ride the wave runner/Savy and Syd are riding with Grandpa, hold on tight! After a long day at the beach we usually go out for dinner, this was no exception. The grand kids got to sit together, they thought that was pretty cool! They had crayons & books. The crayons were dipped in water glasses, used as swords and thrown at each other, parents were tired and hungry, and didn't care! We had some extra time at the camp ground so the kids (adults) rented some fun bikes. I love the smiles on these facesCollin looks like they are about to hit a tent or something, baby Creed thinks he's steering, by the way, who is steering?
This was a fun way to pass some time before we got down to business with finger painting. Grandma's favorite time......hand prints on the tent! Creed goes first, aunt Shannon helps him out Tayler is next, Soupie helps her Cole did great all by himself, I think he likes it!Okay Savannah's turn, Tayler is checking to make sure she does it right, great job SavyLogan says he could do this with one hand, wait a minute you only need one hand!Sydney is next, great job missyDresden is thinking how great it is to be so tall to reach higher up on the tent. Collin reaches right up there next to Dresden, my boys are getting tall!

Carlee, our oldest granddaughter had no problem making her print at the very top
