2nd STOP - BELIZE & CAYE CAULKER

TENDERING IN BELIZE
(the water was too shallow for the ship to dock, so the workers from Belize with their boats came out to the ship and picked us up to take us into their village)

PUTTING SUNSCREEN ON THE KIDS AND OURSELVES BEFORE LEAVING ON ANOTHER BOAT (TAXI) TO CAYE CAULKER FOR LUNCH, BUT BEFORE LUNCH WE WILL
BE SNORKELING IN A COUPLE OF SPOTS

READY FOR OUR BOAT RIDE
WINDING AROUND VERY SMALL ISLANDS

TOO WINDY!
IN THE BACK GROUND YOU CAN SEE A TINY ISLAND WHERE PEOPLE ARE DROPPED OFF TO FISH, THERE ARE ALSO FISHING HUTS BUILT ON STILTS
IN THE MIDDLE OF THE OCEAN
(we passed several of them)
WE WENT TO TWO DIFFERENT SNORKELING SPOTS
THIS WAS THE FIRST WERE WE SNORKELED BY A CORAL REEF

OUR SECOND SPOT WHICH WAS EVEN MORE ADVENTEROUS WAS A PLACE THAT WE COULD SNORKEL AMONG THE SHARKS AND STING RAYS

ANOTHER FORMAL NIGHT ON OUR CRUISE

TRIP TO THE CARIBBEAN - FIRST STOP - ROATAN, HONDURAS

WEDNESDAY
 JANUARY 23rd

OUR FIRST STOP WAS TO ROATAN, HONDURAS
I SHOPPED WHILE JOHN, JAY AND NATALIE WENT SCUBA DIVING

THE VILLAGE WITH OUR SHIP AS IT'S BACK DROP
JOHN, NATALIE & JAY SCUBA DIVING

SCUBA DIVING IN HONDURAS
AFTER SHOPPING AND WHILE THE OTHERS WERE STILL OUT SCUBA DIVING I MET UP WITH SYDNEY AND COLLIN AND WENT TO LUNCH WITH THEM.  THEN COLLIN WANTED TO PLAY BASKETBALL AND SYD AND I HEADED FOR THE ROPES COURSE.  SYDNEY WENT THROUGH THE COURSE 5 TIMES!

I only had a picture of Sydney on the course while we were still in Galviston,
hence the shipping yard as a back drop.
Mahogany Bay was beautiful with green trees and shrubs surrounding the cove.

AFTER THEIR DIVE JAY, NATALIE AND JOHN WENT WITH ME BACK TO THE
VILLAGE FOR MORE SHOPPING

THE KIDS WENT TO DINNER WITH US THAT NIGHT
ONE OF OUR WAITERS  SHOWED SOME NAPKIN TRICKS TO THEM
