Conference week end was full of work and play. Saturday, between sessions we were able to pour cement for the stairs on the south side of our house. On Sunday we decided to go for a ride and listen to conference on the car radio. We used to take our kids on rides and listen to conference, that way we had a captive audience.
We traveled up through Mirror Lake, enjoying the autumn leaves.
We stopped in Evanston, Wyoming, then continued on through Woodruff Utah (my dad's birth place) and over to Bear Lake. We were so surprised to see how high the water was this year. We missed our annual Bear Lake family reunion 2011 because of two new babies in the family. Our day continued on with stopping in Preston Idaho, back into Utah checking out Logan and then driving to Brigham City to see the new LDS temple that is almost complete.
It was a wonderful day full of great conference talks and a beautiful drive.
