WHAT'S NEW AT THE ZOO

Larry was out of town, Shannon had to work, so she gave the 

boys some money and we headed for the zoo.

 HOGLE ZOO

check out the monkey ** No, not the cute monkey at bottom right corner

I mean checkout the monkey in the upper right corner

Ah the Elephants **** Strider was still trying to figure out what was going on

Those are some pretty big birds

Lazy tigers, the ball was still in the water after they decided to take a nap

ROCKY SHORES EXHIBIT

This is the new part of the zoo, which contains bears, seals, sea lions, otters and bald eagles

 This is one of the Sea Lions

The boys could have stayed all day watching this crazy guy.  Meet Rizzo, he is such a playful polar bear.
He would swim away, turn around, swim under the water and then come right up
out of the water to greet his visitors at the window.

Meet our new grizzlies, Dolly, Lou Lou and Koda.  They were very friendly too!

Strider got out of the stroller and ventured on his own in the terrarium

The zoo is now working on a new area for the giraffes, so we could only see them from afar

Dresden and Logan loved the cave where the bats live

but

Strider takes after his cousin Creed, they both love trains

All aboard!

Before leaving the zoo, the boys had to check out the water feature

as it turned around and around
