SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 20th

OUR LAST FULL DAY ON KAUAI
EXPLORING THE ISLAND & SNORKELING AT LYDGATE
PRINCEVILLE
We drove by this beautiful town with a hotel on the sea shore and modest, but delightful homes. My favorite trees on the Island were these pine trees.
Jay told us that this was not even developed when he lived on the Island. It has only been in the last few years that the hotel and homes were built. To us, it looked like it had been there for years.
The gardens in front of the homes were gorgeous.
Continuing on to Ha'ena Beach
We loved how the clouds always hovered over the hills.
A fun and quaint village town
The trees and vines that were against a hill side were across the street from Ha'ena Beach
You get a better perspective of how huge the vines were when you see people standing by them.
Ha'ena Beach Park
We walked the beach and sat down to watch the people.
THE FISHERMAN
This man in the yellow pants caught my eye when we first got there. He looked a very haggard with torn clothes. I thought at first that he must be a homeless person who was a little odd as he just stared out at the ocean for a long long time. Then he got his fish net out and there you go, he turned into a fisherman. I loved watching him catch his dinner.

KING KONG
After snorkeling at Lydgate we wanted to get a picture of King Kong before we left the Island.
Can you see him lying down with this mouth wide open snoreing.
DINNER AT COSTCO, SO ROMANTIC!
John had to feed the chickens & roosters so we were surrounded by these little creatures

WE DECIDED INSTEAD OF BRINGING A PINEAPPLE KNICKKNACK HOME WE WOULD BRING HOME A ROOSTER NICKNACK TO PUT IN THE CURIO. I LOVE IT!
