HAPPY BIRTHDAY LOGAN..........April 18th

PAUL REVERE'S RIDE
by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

Listen my children and you shall hear
Of the midnight ride of Paul Revere,
On the eighteenth (18) of April, in Seventy-five;
Hardly a man is now alive
who remembers that famous day and year.........

The first paragraph of Wadsworth's poem starts to tell us of the history behind April 18th, it's a long poem, but well worth reading.
Logan will eventually learn about this famous ride on April 18th in school, and I'm sure he will be proud that he shares his birthday with this famous date and person.

SATURDAY, APRIL 17TH
Logan's Pirate Birthday party included pizza, cake, presents and pirate treasures for all of his friends
I love the cake Shannon made
Shannon explaining rules to one of the games
Logan opening up one of his presents
SUNDAY, APRIL 18TH
Family party at the Curtis', Grandpa De, Dresden, Larry and Logan
Uncle Brandt, Aunt Soupie and Carlee
Logan got plenty of money to put in his treasure chest
Aunt Natalie and Sydney
Grandma BJ, Shannon, Tayler, Jay and Collin
It was a perfect day, visiting with everyone and enjoying Logan's 6th Birthday

Looks like so much fun as they all do. Tell the little guy we love him and wish him a happy birthday!

Ha ha...Dresden did his report on Paul Revere and I didn't even remember that his ride was on April 18th. Guess we overlooked that part.

It was a great party and I'm glad you were there for it. Thanks for all you do for us. My boys are so lucky to have you right next door. We love you and dad very much!
