STRIDER'S BIG DAY * MAY 1st

I had left over material from the blanket I made Strider so I made another one that was used for his blessing day, I felt very honored.
This is the blanket that I made for Strider to match his room, it is navy blue and white minke material.

DYING EGGS AT GRANDMA'S HOUSE

DRESDEN AND LOGAN WERE DYING SOME EGGS FOR THE CURTIS FAMILY EASTER PARTY THE NEXT DAY. IT WAS FUN HAVING THEM OVER TO DECORATE THEIR EGGS, THEY EVEN LET ME PUT ON A COUPLE OF STICKERS

A WHOLE NEW MEANING FOR SPRING BREAK

THE GRAND KIDS WERE PLAYING OUTSIDE AFTER THE BIG EASTER EGG HUNT. IT WAS THE BEGINNING OF SPRING BREAK, THE KIDS WERE EXCITED ABOUT THEIR LITTLE VACATION TIME FROM SCHOOL. THE RUDEL'S WERE HEADED OUT OF TOWN FOR ARIZONA TO VISIT JAYS FAMILY, AND LIFE WAS GOOD UNTIL SYDNEY FELL FROM THE TRAILER AND BROKE HER ARM. SHE WAS PRETTY LUCKY IT WAS JUST A MINOR BREAK AND SHE'S ONLY HAD TO WEAR A BRACE. NATALIE SAID THAT THE WHOLE TIME THEY WERE TAKING CARE OF SYDNEY AT THE HOSPITAL, SYDNEY KEPT SAYING THROUGH HER SOBS, "THAT WAS A REALLY DUMB THING TO DO." DON'T WORRY SYDNEY WE ALL HAVE HAD TO SAY THAT ONE TIME OF ANOTHER.

We celebrated Logan's B day on the Sunday before Easter which included dinner and an early Easter Egg Hunt

Shannon made and decorated the cake and cup cakes with an Easter Theme

All Logan wanted for his birthday was cards with money in the cards, of course

We tricked Logan with a different present. He thought he knew what the present was, he checked it out the day before, so we couldn't resist re-wrapping the gift with something different. He was surprised and we got our laugh.

Brandt picked up Grandma from the rehab and brought her to our home to help us celebrate

Carlee practicing with baby Strider, her new little brother will be coming in a couple of months

Dresden and Collin are anxious for the cake and ice cream, the other three were anxiously waiting for the candles to be lit

GRANDMA ELLENS SURGERIES

TWO SURGERIES IN ONE MONTH
The first surgery on Grandma's shoulder was unsuccessful as they found that her shoulder was damaged too much and needed to be replaced. These pictures are the second time around. The first picture is when she was in the Provo Hospital. The second picture is Health South Rehab (by our home) where she went to rec operate and receive therapy. She was in their for a little over a week. She came to our home to finish re cooperating before going home to Ephraim. She has done so well and is very happy not to be in so much pain and suffering. No wonder she hurt so bad, her arm was just hanging with no support what so ever.
